Tomo Japanese Restaurant and sushi bar opened Tuesday on South Third Street in Bend. It has taken over the space near Murphy Road formerly occupied by the south-side SOBA, which closed in July for “remodeling.” In addition to nigiri and maki sushi, the cafe offers bento meals and noodle dishes.
