KIXE art, wine auction set for April 23-24

Select wines and one-of-a-kind works by more than 60 artists will be up for bid Friday and Saturday, April 23-24, during the KIXE Invitational Art and Wine Auction.
The two-night auction will be broadcast live on Channel 9 beginning at 7 p m. Viewers will have the opportunity to purchase items and support quality public television in the North State.

Judge Edwards admonished

The Commission on Judicial Performance issued a public admonishment of Trinity County Superior Court Judge Anthony Edwards, alleging that he created an appearance of bias on a number of occasions, including one in which he acted on a matter he was disqualified in and hugged the defendant in open court.
