This past weekend Louise Lawson, Diane Weaver, Kim and Susie Rasmusen, Edith Millan, Barbara Gallwitz, Harriet Mattheis, Sally Styczynski, Linda Snell, Sue Rose, Carmen Wolfinbarger and Sydney Adams carpooled to San Ramon for the TOPS Club Area Recognition Days. They had mixed feelings this year as they had heard it would be the last of these celebrations.

Tasty results at the Trinity Lake Lions spaghetti sauce cook-off

The first Trinity Lake Lions Spaghetti Cook-off last Saturday at the IOOF Hall in Trinity Center was a roaring success. The cook-off’s $250 Grand Prize enticed nine entries across the meat and non-meat categories.

Spiril Circus hopes their Community Tapestry Dance and gathering this Friday at Northern Delights will become a monthly community happening. It sounds like a very interesting event, and true to the sponsors’ name, the agenda reads like an indoor circus. It’s a potluck, and all ages are invited to participate in this free family fun.

WES Jazz band performance

The Trinity High School Choir, Weaverville Community Concert Band and Weaverville Elementary School Jazz Band will present a concert at Trinity Alps Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. April 27. Tickets are $5 or students and seniors $4, and are available at the door. All proceeds benefit the Trinity High School Choir and Weaverville Elementary School Jazz Band.
