Artist Spotlight: Bird’s eye views have influenced north state artist

Artist Patricia Crow originally hails from Seal Beach. She graduated in the Rose Bowl in the 10th grade, and attended Pasadena City College for music. Her life adventures brought her, her husband and four children to Red Bluff when she was 25. She has lived on a sailboat, brokered yachts and piloted an airplane for mountain and island flying. Tired of all that, she sold the airplane, moved off the boat and enrolled in the University of Washington to finish her degree. A Redding resident since 2000, Patricia has continued her arts education at Shasta College and in workshops, classes with artist Barbara Enochian and the North Valley Art League Tuesday Painters.
