		<description><![CDATA[The Eldorado National Forest is preparing for one of the biggest recreation weekends of the year, as folks head to the mountains for Independence Day celebrations.<p />With the exception of Wrights Lake, Woods Lake and Blue Lakes campgrounds, all recreational facilities in the forest will be open for the Fourth of July weekend. Officials caution holiday celebrants, however, that because of wildfire risks, all types of fireworks are illegal in the national forest and violators will receive citations.<p />Visitors also are reminded that motor vehicle use is allowed only on designated routes on the free Motor Vehicle Use Map available at Eldorado National Forest offices. <p />People planning to camp outside of developed campgrounds must park on or within one vehicle length of a designated route.]]></description>
